2. Foreign language requirement

选择一个	在8590海洋之神官网或国外完成202级或更高级别的语言课程
选择两个	完成至少四个学分的认可语言的学习，而不是教授 8590海洋之神官网 while studying abroad.  (This option may also require students to separately fulfill the College-wide foreign language requirement.)

3. Semester abroad requirement

专业学生必须到国外学习一个学期 全球教育办公室 before the fall of the student’s senior year.

注意(1): students must attain a GPA of 至少 2.5 to be considered for study abroad.  Failure to achieve this GPA by the fourth 海洋之神590网址的学期要求学生选择不同的专业.

注(2)短期留学项目的组合不能代替 虽然短期留学确实满足了体验式学习 requirement discussed below.

4. Experiential learning requirement

Completion of a relevant 实习 与国际研究有关，并经国际研究主任批准 (either credit or non-credit bearing). 5. Senior capstone requirement (SCE)

国际研究课程提供两种选择来完成高级课程 顶点要求:至少30页的基于研究的论文，或自己设计的 项目. 在许多情况下，双专业可以完成一个合并顶点 项目 if that is their preference. The SCE must be completed over two 学期s under the direction of an assigned capstone advisor. Ordinarily students initiate 该项目与要求的国际研究研讨会(INT 401)期间 the fall 学期 of the senior year.
